My area of specialization is Computer Architecture and I am currently working on several
projects geared towards high performance processors. More specifically things that interest
me include:
- Collaborative CMP architectures
- Phase-based program analysis and optimizations
- Adaptive scheduling for VLIW processors
- Memory hierarchy design and prefetching

Suleyman
was born in Turkey on 1975. He grew up in the small seaside town Canakkale where
he lived until he graduated from high school in 1993. Then he moved to Istanbul
to attend Istanbul Technical University. After
graduating with a B.Sc. degree in Control and Computer Engineering, he came to
U.S. to pursue graduate education. After receiving his M.Sc. in Electrical and
Computer Engineering from Northeastern University
in beautiful Boston,
MA, he came to sunny San Diego, CA going after yet
another degree. He got his Ph.D. in Computer
Science at University of California, San
Diego in 2003. He is currently at North Carolina State
University, working hard as an assistant professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering.
