Biography for Xun Liu
Xun Liu is an Assistant Professor of Electrical and Computer
Engineering at the NC State
University in Raleigh. His research interests include computer
architecture and systems: Digital Systems Architectures/Architectures
for Signal Processing, Embedded Systems, VLSI Design/Fixed-Function
Digital Integrated Circuit Design. Xun got his M.S. degree in Electrical and Computer
Engineering from University
of Rochester, Rochester, NY in 1998. In 2003, he received his
Ph.D. degree in Electrical
Engineering and Computer Science from University of Michigan, Ann Arbor,
MI, under the direction of Prof. Marios
C. Papaefthymiou.
Xun was a recipient of 2002-2003 Rackham
Predoctoral Fellowship. He received a Nvidia Professor Partnership
Award in 2008. He is a member of the IEEE.
