To Prospective MS Students
I have several exciting/interesting short-term projects for MS
Students who are interested in working on their MS theses. The topics
of these projects consist of print circuit broad design, gate-level IC
design and simulation, system level VLSI design, CAD tool development,
error/fault tolerance design, and silicon compiler development. If you
are interested, please make an appointment with me for a detailed
discussion. Unfortunately, these project are UNFUNDED. However, if you
could show me great research potential by delivering solid research
results, I can recommend you for financial support or hire you as a
research assistant.
To Prospective PhD Students
I currently have one Research Assistant opening.
If you want to be my student, please read my research interests. Then email me which project you would
like to work on. Emails that fail to mention your choice of projects
may be discarded. I expect my students to have VERY good skills in C
programming and deep knowledge about VLSI designs. Note that I ONLY
hire new students AFTER they work with me for at least 1
semester. There are several students who are working with me for
potential funding opportunities. If you believe you are a very good
student, I encourage you to contact me ASAP. Although RA openings
might not be available all the time, if you work with me and show me
great research potential, I will hire you as soon as I get my proposal
funded. Moreover, I can recommend students to become Teaching Assistants.
